It's officially Bourbon Barrel Stout Season, and we're all here for it. A lot of steps, time, and skill goes into creating a well rounded Bourbon Barrel Stout, like our latest one, "The Path That Leads Before You."

The story all started when one of our favorite liquor stores reached out to us with a special hand picked Knob Creek barrel. We joined forces, used our imperial stout recipe we brew exclusively to be aged in barrels, and conditioned it on vanilla beans for a little to produce a super smooth velvety mouthful of a beer. **contains lactose

To celebrate this special beer, we're hosting a "Bourbon, Brews, and Barrels" event in the Amherst Brewing Taproom featuring a special Knob Creek Cocktail, Path That Leads Before You Bourbon Barrel Stout samples, raffles, learn about the barrel aging process, and much more.
